Gears of War 2 bundle to get replica Lancer

When a $130 Gears of War 2 bundle was announced, there was little doubt in my mind that some type of "replica" would come with. While I'm not the biggest fan of "Collector's/Special" editions of video games (I have never once bought anything more than a standard retail copy of a game, unless you consider Legend of Zelda: Master Quest a game that wouldn't fall under that category), it is quite amusing to see what developers try to add to these essential rip-offs to actually make them somewhat worth their jacked up prices.
For those who want to play Texas Chainsaw Massacre with your friends, here is some good news: a replica Lancer will be packed with Gears 2's premium retail copy. A panel from Epic Games stated this at Comic-Con, and while Microsoft hasn't confirmed yet, that says little these days. Expect an offiial unveiling of the lancer to come soon; I personally can wait for it. I'll admit this at least; a replica Lancer is much cooler than a decapitated Master Chief.
